Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum two years of in-house payroll experience.
- Knowledge of FLSA.
- Knowledge of finance and accounting functions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of timekeeping software, specifically UKG.
- Skill in attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate clearly both written and oral.
- Ability to analyze, detect, and solve payroll system problems using above average analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.
Skills
- Excel Preferred

Responsibilities
- Process in-house bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely.
- Prepare annual and quarterly payroll tax filings.
- Maintain all payroll records.
- File federal and state tax payments.
- Maintain timekeeping software and understand pay practices and policies.
- Prepare W2 reporting at year end and electronically file to state and federal agencies.
- Assist in various accounting matters as needed.
