About the role
The Payroll Specialist will process payroll for up to 2500 employees across multiple locations using ADP Workforce. They will also support accounting and HR operations related to payroll, including audits, ensuring compliance and tax compliance in several states, making adjustments to benefits, supporting special projects, handling withholdings, tracking time, PTO, and providing reporting to both internal and external customers. Additionally, they will provide customer service to employees.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for up to 2500 hourly and salary employees across multiple locations using ADP Workforce
- Support accounting and HR operations associated with payroll, including audits, ensuring compliance and tax compliance in several states
- Make adjustments to benefits and handle special projects
- Withhold and track time, PTO, and provide necessary reporting to internal and external customers
- Provide customer service to employees
Requirements
- Proficiency with ADP or similar systems
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience with timekeeping systems
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing
- Experience with payroll software such as ADP or similar systems
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Skills
- Proficiency with ADP or similar payroll systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Timekeeping system experience
