Payroll Clerk

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Payroll Clerk to join our team.

About the role

As a Payroll Clerk, you are responsible for carrying out community payroll operations in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable state and federal laws, and under the supervision of the Payroll/HR Regional Consultant. This role handles general payroll duties including compensation, employment status, and employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Manage payroll-related tasks such as compensation, employment status, and benefits administration.
• Maintain current knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all payroll operations.
• Handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum of two years of prior payroll experience in a long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting (required).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, best practices, and payroll application systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong personal organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professional appearance and behavior.
