Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees in an accurate and timely manner.
• Calculate wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Verify and manage timesheet data and employee attendance records.
• Update and maintain payroll records by entering changes regarding new hires, terminations, promotions, and pay adjustments.
• Address and resolve employee enquiries related to payroll issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit regular payroll reports for management review.
• Ensure strict compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll and tax legislation.
• Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless operations.

Skills And Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar capacity.
• A strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and US legislation.
• Exceptional numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A formal qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.

Pay
