Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees in an accurate and timely manner.
- Calculate wages, bonuses, overtime, and deductions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Verify and manage timesheet data and employee attendance records.
- Update and maintain payroll records by entering changes regarding new hires, terminations, promotions, and pay adjustments.
- Address and resolve employee enquiries related to payroll issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit regular payroll reports for management review.
- Ensure strict compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll and tax legislation.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless operations.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar capacity.
- A strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and US legislation.
- Exceptional numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A formal qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
