Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing.
- Oversee administration of employee benefits, including health, retirement, leave, FSA/HSA, life, and disability programs.
- Serve as the primary liaison with payroll, benefits, and retirement vendors.
- Lead annual open enrollment, employee communications, and vendor coordination.
- Audit payroll and benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor payroll, tax, and employment law changes and implement required updates.
- Respond to employee payroll and benefits inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Partner with HR and Finance on reporting, system enhancements, and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain payroll and benefits policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive payroll and benefits administration experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, preferably ADP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
