About the role
Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Payroll Benefits Coordinator to manage employee payroll, coordinate new hire onboarding, and serve as a liaison for benefits-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Review and correct daily timecards (missed punches, shift changes, overtime)
- Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy in hours, rates, bonuses, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and union agreements
- Manage pay changes and personnel actions (hires, terminations, rate changes)
- Cook up off-cycle payments and ensure proper documentation (manual checks, Wisely cards)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in payroll, benefits, or administrative support (or a bachelor's degree)
- Experience with payroll/timekeeping systems (ADP or similar) is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to regular attendance
