About the role

The Payroll Benefits Coordinator is responsible for processing payroll, coordinating employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, conducting personnel file audits, completing employment verifications, and serving as a resource for employees regarding payroll and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and conduct personnel file audits.
  • Complete employment verifications and assist employees with payroll and benefits questions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Exercise strong organizational skills and manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous payroll, benefits administration, or administrative office experience.
  • Experience with Kronos payroll and UKG Pro.
  • Experience with employee onboarding, employment verifications, personnel file maintenance, and file audits.
  • Knowledge of workplace policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Skills

  • Payroll Administration: Knowledge of payroll processes, payroll systems, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Administrative and Office Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer systems.
  • Employee Support: Professional communication skills with the ability to assist employees with payroll, benefits, onboarding, and employment-related questions while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain personnel files, complete file audits, process employment verifications, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Professionalism: Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and represent the facility in a professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with facility leadership while providing exceptional administrative support.

About Washington Healthcare

Washington Healthcare is a full-time, on-site position available Monday through Friday. Previous payroll, benefits administration, or administrative office experience is strongly preferred.
