Primary Responsibilities
- Processes multiple payrolls in a fast-paced setting.
- Reviews timesheets, checks for accuracy, and obtains necessary approvals.
- Verifies non-worked earnings according to union contract or company policy.
- Validates labor tracking data as entered on timesheets.
- Maintains various spreadsheets to track benefit eligibility, premium payments, PTO accruals, and salary increases.
- Maintains accurate payroll-related files and monitors pay adjustments.
- Ensures accurate payment, reporting, and reconciliation of all multi-state employer and employee related payroll taxes.
- Provides analysis and insights on payroll data.
- Supports and answers questions regarding payroll policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with the Recruiters and HR Generalists to ensure accurate records for H2B Visa workers.
- Performs payroll and recordkeeping audits as needed.
Benefits
- Administers employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, FSA, life insurance, short/long term disability, voluntary insurances, and 401K.
- Develops benefits training and plan documentation.
- Participates in the annual enrollment processes and utilizes internal and external resources.
- Liaises with third-party vendors and consultants to ensure quality and efficiency of benefit programs.
- Verifies enrollment data provided to the carriers and reviews provider invoices.
- Ensures accurate documentation of leave of absence.
- Initiates any waiver of premium or life insurance claims.
Talent Management
- Administers talent management programs and systems according to defined strategy and plans.
- Creates key deliverables, reports, communications, learning materials, and other support resources.
- Supports the performance management, goal setting, dialog, and annual review processes.
- Prepares and analyzes data, communicates, presents, and trains on performance management.
