Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in processing payroll required
- Experience with multi-state US payroll, and Canada (Ontario Province) payroll preferred
- Experience with restaurant and retail payroll, including tips, preferred
- Experience with Dayforce Payroll system preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and with precision, especially with numbers
- Solid organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll process, tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and support weekly payroll, accurate allocation on tip sheets in a timely fashion manner for multiple locations across US and Canada.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports for accuracy; process adjustments if needed
- Maintains accurate payroll records for employees on a weekly basis.
- Coincide with Managed Payroll team to issue manual checks when needed.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in payroll processing.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reports needed changes.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping confidential information
- Coincide with the Dayforce Managed Team to submit and track levies, garnishments, and other third-party deductions.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to stakeholders as needed.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline payroll processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams and the Dayforce Managed Team.
- Document payroll procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls.
