Payroll Analyst
Job Description
Vantor is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our Payroll team. In this role, you will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large, multi-company, multi-state and global workforce of about 2,000 employees. This role is responsible for payroll data validation, payroll processing support, compliance activities, audits, reporting and employee support while ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable federal, state, local and international payroll regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support bi-weekly, monthly and off-cycle payroll processing for U.S. multi-state employees and international payroll populations utilizing external payroll provider system.
- Review payroll transactions including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, commissions, equity transactions, and employee deductions.
- Validate payroll inputs and outputs to ensure payroll accuracy and completeness before processing.
- Aid in payroll reconciliations and resolution of payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, direct deposit, etc.
- Partner with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance to resolve payroll-related issues.
- Provide excellent customer services while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- Two years of experience may be substituted for a degree
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Organization skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ADP and/or Workday experience
