Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities

• Oversee and audit timely and accurate processing of companywide payroll.
• Provide expertise in processing payroll in accordance with UTA policies and standard operating procedures, the collective bargaining agreement, and state and federal regulations.
• Manage garnishment, leave balances, and payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
• Work with management on the analysis, creation, and closures of year-end, responding to payroll audits, and tax filing.
• Maintain a complete knowledge of the ERP payroll system (Workday).

Requirements

• Three years previous job-related work experience reviewing, administering, and processing the complete payroll function using an ERP system for a minimum of 500 employees.
• Associates degree in Accounting, or related field. (In lieu of an Associates Degree, 2 additional years of experience will be considered)
• This job requires an annual credit check.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a union environment preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
