About the role
The Payroll Analyst ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees while maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and company payroll regulations. This position handles biweekly payroll activities, including transactions and audits, responds to employee inquiries, and maintains payroll records. The role collaborates with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, and third-party vendors to ensure correct and on-schedule payments. Additionally, the Payroll Analyst supports payroll reporting, tax compliance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Process biweekly payroll transactions accurately and on time.
- Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Maintain and update payroll records.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Benefits, Finance, and third-party vendors.
- Support payroll reporting and tax compliance efforts.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives within payroll operations.
