Payroll Analyst

6-month contract with a potential for extension in Nashville, TN. W2 contract; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Pay

$33.00 - $38.00/hr. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. No PTO or benefits provided.

Schedule

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Process and/or audit payroll using ADP GlobalView in a large, automated environment supporting 10,000+ employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Perform complex payroll calculations and data analysis using advanced Excel functions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and correct formula and data errors in payroll systems.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience processing and/or auditing payroll using ADP GlobalView (exposure or familiarity does not count).
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Strong knowledge of standard payroll concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF statements, pivot tables, and statistical functions.
• Proficiency with ADP GlobalView, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PC-based applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or
• Associate’s degree with relevant payroll or related professional experience.

Skills

• Advanced numerical and mathematical skills for complex payroll calculations.
• Strong data analysis capabilities using Excel formulas and reporting tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and correct formula and data errors.
• Experience with multi-system integration (ADP GlobalView, Microsoft Office, PC-based applications).
