Why This Role Is Important

• Analyze multi-state wage reporting for accuracy and completeness
• Aid with month-end close procedures
• Perform weekly review and matching of payroll items as well as non-matching items and reconciling journal entries to the correct amounts
• Answer questions related to payroll tax and payroll banking
• Audit union employee data, submitting monthly reports and required payments to each Local union
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Background That Fits

• 3+ years of Payroll experience with emphasis in Payroll Accounting and Payroll Tax
• Union experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with Workday payroll and reporting tools
• Multi-state full cycle payroll experience in high volume fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree required, or commensurate experience
