Key Responsibilities

  • Track and ensure timely and accurate submission of field timesheets.
  • Payroll Processing: Review and balance timesheet data for weekly payroll processing using custom software.
  • Create and distribute weekly and monthly payroll reports, including Union reports.
  • Address payroll questions and discrepancies, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Respond to requests from internal and external departments.
  • Foster positive relationships with company and customer personnel, providing analytical support when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality in record keeping and comply with privacy laws.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience processing payroll.
  • Payroll Knowledge: Familiarity with union and non-union payroll.
  • Privacy Law Knowledge: Understanding of state and federal privacy laws.
  • Wage and Hour Laws: Knowledge of state and multistate wage and hour laws.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, as well as proficiency in basic math operations and data sorting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Software Experience: Experience with Sage300 (Timberline) construction or Ceridian Dayforce software.
  • Certified Payroll: Familiarity with certified payroll.
