Key Responsibilities
- Track and ensure timely and accurate submission of field timesheets.
- Payroll Processing: Review and balance timesheet data for weekly payroll processing using custom software.
- Create and distribute weekly and monthly payroll reports, including Union reports.
- Address payroll questions and discrepancies, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Respond to requests from internal and external departments.
- Foster positive relationships with company and customer personnel, providing analytical support when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality in record keeping and comply with privacy laws.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience processing payroll.
- Payroll Knowledge: Familiarity with union and non-union payroll.
- Privacy Law Knowledge: Understanding of state and federal privacy laws.
- Wage and Hour Laws: Knowledge of state and multistate wage and hour laws.
- Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, as well as proficiency in basic math operations and data sorting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Software Experience: Experience with Sage300 (Timberline) construction or Ceridian Dayforce software.
- Certified Payroll: Familiarity with certified payroll.
