About the role
Payroll Accountant is responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing including direct deposit, tax withholdings, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll administration.
- Knowledge of payroll software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
