About the role

The Payments & Deposit Operations Representative II position is located in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States of America. This role operates in an overnight Lockbox department, processing wholesale transactions for medical companies.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with partners in a professional manner, demonstrating clear understanding of customers/partners needs and knowledge of TD products and processes.
  • Process wholesale transactions, setting up deposits for the morning.
  • Sort, match, and scan checks into the system each night.
  • Handle high volume, fast-paced transactions in a high-pressure environment.
  • Validate information and perform adjustments within authority levels.
  • Resolve or escalate processing or operational issues as needed.
  • Support partners with incoming transactions, ensuring service quality is maintained.
  • Complete assigned workload to meet service and productivity SLAs.
  • Understand and apply internal and industry regulations.
  • Manage correspondence, information, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and share ideas.
  • Escalate non-standard or high-risk activities as appropriate.
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies for operations activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal partners and external customers.
  • Knowledge of TD products and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
  • Experience with banking or finance operations a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay

$22.50 - $29.00 USD per hour.

Schedule

Part-time, 30 hours per week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM EST.
