Payments Business Analyst III

Description Summary

The Data Analyst 3 role is part of the Enterprise Payments ChoicePay team and supports the Business to Consumer (B2C) platform to help ensure it meets the needs of customers, colleagues, and the Bank’s strategic objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Creates effective reporting using multiple data sources and visualization tools.
• Maintains, monitors, and updates assigned business processes and/or systems.
• Researches complex problems and works independently to resolve issues.
• Analyzes existing business processes and/or systems, identifies technical or procedural improvements through data-driven insights, and implements approved changes.
• Develops operational procedures for supported products, services, and systems.
• Designs processes that support regulatory requirements and operational controls.
• Develops and generates specialized, recurring, and ad hoc reports.
• Analyzes reports and recommends improvements to processes and/or systems.
• Provides technical and consultative support to the business unit, customers, management, and other users.
• Affords assistance with client disbursement activities including set up monitoring and escalation remediation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years experience with SQL, Tableau, AWS Athena, and advanced Excel.
• 5+ years experience in a Data Analyst role performing similar responsibilities.
• 5+ years experience with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Teams.
