About the role
Seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused professional to support rental assistance programs in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for participants via phone, email, and in person
- Guide individuals through rental assistance and county aid application processes
- Collect, verify, and document eligibility and payment information
- Calculate assistance amounts and coordinate payments to landlords
- Maintain accurate records and cross-check for compliance and fraud prevention
- Perform accounts payable tasks including coding invoices, processing payments, verifying payments, and posting payments
- Handle incoming payments, online payments, and loan servicing
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working with sensitive financial information
- Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly
- Bilingual skills strongly preferred
Schedule
Monday–Thursday full days, early close on Fridays. Fully onsite.
