Payment Mail Representative (6-month temp assignment)
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Processes payments and share deposits within level of authority in expected turnaround time.
- Refers issues beyond level of authority to supervisor along with recommendations for resolution.
- Works with internal resources throughout the credit union to determine resolution of payments and processes non-payment requests such as subordination, payoff, or insurance requests.
- Scans and archives payment documentation in appropriate online systems as well as in physical storage location.
- Processes member and non-member payment adjustments daily.
- Affords assistance with inquiries that come from internal departments amongst different payment channels.
- Balances cash drawer and daily accounts transactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required + minimum of 18 years old
- 1+ years' experience in Clerical, Administrative or Payments related – Preferred
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use critical thinking skills, research skills, and stay organized
- High attention to detail - you must be a person that pays close attention to numbers and can identify errors in data!
- Positive attitude, helpful, and team-oriented focused
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $17 to $18 per hour. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. With this being a temporary role it is not eligible for benefits.
