About the role

Designs and fabricates tools and parts in wood, metal, and composite materials through machining operations for use in foundry processes or internal customers. Works from blueprints, drawings, 3D models, or verbal instructions using math and basic computer skills. May create models from drawings using CAD and CAM systems, generate numerical control programs, and transmit programs to machining centers.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate tools and parts in wood, metal, and composite materials.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, 3D models, or verbal instructions.
• Perform machining operations for foundry processes or internal customers.
• Create models from drawings using CAD/CAM systems.
• Generate numerical control (NC) programs and transmit them to machining centers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of additional education and/or relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Full‑time availability on the 1st shift.
• No relocation assistance, telework, travel, or security clearance required.

• Proactive communication abilities when dealing with multiple parties.

Pay

Estimated base pay range: $58,000 – $74,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.
