Pattern Maker

Responsibilities

• Create and edit patterns in paper and Optitex under PPM supervision
• Grade and digitize patterns under PPM supervision
• Print and distribute patterns to contractors
• Digitize patterns using Adobe Illustrator
• Manage, track, and maintain the extensive pattern registry and libraries to ensure accuracy in sampling and production
• Crosscheck patterns with specs to increase tech pack measurement accuracy
• Sew samples in-house to test pattern accuracy
• Work closely with the designer, PPM, and PPAM in the sample development process
• Work closely with the PPM and QC team in production construction and pattern issue resolution
• Enter sample and production QC measurements into the PLM system
• Enter sample measurements, notes, and feedback into the PP testfit chart
• Generate sample testfit charts for the designer's testfit
• Post twice-weekly testfit feedback in respective Slack channels
• Tag PPM and PPAM in related posts
• Generate tech packs for contractors using the PLM system
• Maintain and update processes and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners
• Testfit samples and production in respective sizes to quickly identify construction or fabric issues
• Step in and perform other duties as required
