About the Role
Northeast Security is looking to add to our Patrol Unit for one of our top clients in Boston, MA. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Law Enforcement, Military, Criminal Justice, or related experience.
Responsibilities
- Vigilant patrolling of a large property, including addressing vagrants and community quality-of-life issues.
- Review security footage and conduct investigations of incidents.
- Respond to emergency situations involving patrons with quality-of-life issues such as homelessness and addictions.
- Write incident reports.
- Use walkie talkies to communicate closely with the team.
- Discern irate tenant/customer calls and access requests.
- Respond to emergency situations in person.
- Monitor, patrol, and respond to threats/emergencies outdoors in all-weather situations.
- Use modern technology to monitor alarm signals and dispatch security personnel following standard operations manuals.
- Answer incoming lines.
- Work individually and as a team to respond to incidents.
- Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities, suspicious behavior, or security breaches.
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
- Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
- Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
- Write detailed reports on daily incidents.
- Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities.
- Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
- Comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders.
- Assume other duties as required by either the client or Northeast Security, Inc.
Requirements
- Experience with Quality of Life individuals.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy, including working in MS Windows, Outlook, and OneNote.
- Previous Law Enforcement or related field/education in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Those in the process of obtaining a Criminal Justice degree or related field are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent computer skills utilizing multiple screens.
- Neat and professional appearance.
- Dependable means of transportation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal).
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment background and drug screenings.
- Driver's License of three years or more with a clean record.

Pay
$25.10 - $27.90 per hour, depending on position and experience.
Schedule
Variety of full-time and part-time positions available, including overnights, second shift, weekends, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
