About the role
As a Tactical Security Officer, your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly is crucial. Physical ability is essential as you will be patrolling various environments such as retail stores, HOAs, airports, and detention centers throughout your shift.
Schedule
- Set schedule: 32 to 40-hour work week
- Shift: Swing (3pm to 11pm), Saturday to Wednesday
Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $19/hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service as a top priority
- Assist with visitor management and access control, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the property
- Patrol the property by car, bike, and foot in a safe manner
- Greet residents and guests, verifying their identity and ensuring proper access to the community
- Respond to calls as needed
- Observe and survey the area, providing reporting on activity at your assigned location
- Regularly inspect and maintain all security equipment, patrol vehicles, and bikes to ensure proper operation
- Excel in reading and writing detailed reports
- Provide rapid response in critical situations, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Document and report any unusual activities or incidents to site management and appropriate authorities
- Communicate with the Homeowners Association regarding emergencies or safety concerns
- Keep accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a Bike Certification that Police Officers pass
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-end, fast-paced HOA setting
- Valid PILB (Private Investigator's License Board) certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be over 21 years old
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
