About the role

The Clay Center Police Department is accepting applications for 1 full-time patrol officer position.

Responsibilities

- Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety - Respond to emergency calls and non-emergency incidents - Conduct traffic stops and investigations - Maintain records and reports

Requirements

- Valid Kansas driver’s license - Completion of police academy training - Successful completion of background check

Qualifications

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Physical fitness and stamina suitable for law enforcement

Pay

Commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
