About the role
As a Patrol Officer you will provide armed security for all BIW facilities.
Responsibilities
- Follow all company and department operating procedures
- Write incident reports and maintain logs
- Work fixed posts, waterborne assignments, and conduct walking checks of facilities
Requirements
- US Citizen (required for consideration)
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance
- Ability to obtain an interim security clearance within the first 45 days of hire
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work any of three 8-hour shifts, as well as weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime when required
- Must successfully complete psychological testing and medical review
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
- Past work experience carrying a firearm as part of regular duties (required)
Qualifications
- Police or security-related training (preferred)
- Minimum of one year in security-related field (preferred)
- Watercraft operations certification (preferred)
Pay
$23.28/hr - $26.34/hr
Schedule
Any of three 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with scheduled and unscheduled overtime as required.
