Patrol Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security for all BIW facilities.
• Follow all company and department operating procedures.
• Write incident reports and maintain logs.
• Work fixed posts, waterborne assignments, and conduct walking checks of facilities.

Requirements

• Obtain a government security clearance.
• Be a US Citizen.
• Obtain an interim security clearance within 45 days of hire.
• Work any of three 8-hour shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.
• Be willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime when required.
• Successfully complete psychological testing and medical review.
• Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Past work experience carrying a firearm as part of regular duties.
• Watercraft operations certified preferred.

Skills
