Patrol Officer

Responsibilities

• Performs uniformed patrol work involving traffic and crime control
• Investigates criminal activity
• Enforcement of laws and ordinances
• Arrests offenders
• Protection of life and property
• Gives presentations to groups and individuals on subject matter related to job tasks and functions

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to act effectively in emergency and non-emergency situations
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Excellent physical and mental condition
• Must be 21 years of age on or before the date of appointment
• Non-smoking environment
