About the role
The Patrol Deputy is responsible for maintaining public safety within the community. This includes responding to emergency calls, conducting patrols, and providing assistance to citizens in need.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate assistance
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure public safety
- Investigate incidents and gather evidence as necessary
- Communicate effectively with citizens and other law enforcement agencies
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physical fitness and agility suitable for law enforcement duties
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations
- Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry
