About the role

Join our team in Rice Lake, WI as a Patio Security Screen Door (PSSD) Operator. This fast-paced environment offers varied job tasks and the opportunity to work with a company that lives its values.

• Work from manufacturing orders, verbal, or written instructions to perform assembly operations such as cutting parts, installing components, packaging, and labeling according to customer specifications.
• Utilize basic setup charts, follow quality procedures, make machine adjustments, changeovers, requisition stock, clean fixtures, position parts, clear jams, inspect parts, monitor machines, and maintain records.
• Assemble units to special order based on demonstrations, instructions, and simple prints.
• Perform initial setups requiring complete tooling changes while following set-up charts and QA procedures.
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting, make machine adjustments for quality, operate equipment across multiple product families, and prioritize work efficiently.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a neat, orderly condition.
• Perform and document all required quality checks.
• Work overtime on short notice as required.

Requirements

• Experience using basic machines and hand tools such as saws, punches, presses, nail/staple guns, hammers, and screwdrivers.
• Knowledge of decimal tape measures, calipers, micrometers, comparators, gages, fixtures, and other quality equipment.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting.

Pay

$20.50 per hour.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
