About the role

Provide supervision, coaching, and support to patients and families. Work in a fast-paced, changing environment and maintain safety of patients with mental and behavioral health challenges in various settings.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coach patients and families
  • Maintain safety of patients with mental and behavioral health challenges
  • Work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Intervene to maintain safety of patients with mental and behavioral health challenges
  • Work with patients experiencing a variety of behavioral and physical symptoms related to mental illness

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • At least one (1) year of related experience in customer service and/or caring for and maintaining safety of children
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) on hire
  • Safety Care certification (internal training) required within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter
  • Preferred: Training in verbal de-escalation and/or non-violent crisis intervention
  • Experience working with children or adolescents - highly preferred
  • Experience working in inpatient behavioral health settings
  • American Sign Language Skills
  • Training in Mental Health First Aid

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

Schedule

Night Shift - 12 hours, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., rotating weekends
