Patient Transporter PRN

About the role
The transporter is trained in the transfer and transportation of patients to and from different departments of the hospital. The goal of the transporters is to provide safe, courteous, and prompt service to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Ability to transfer patients to and from bed to wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families as described in "Patients First Service."
- Accepts accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrates reliability and dependability, and utilizes time and material cost-effectively.
- Continue self-development by seeking out educational opportunities such as in-services, Healthstream, etc.
- Reflects HCA values and its ethical and compliance principles in daily activities (Code of Conduct).
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
No travel required.
