Patient Transporter - Part Time

Shift Details

• Evening shifts
• 20 hours a week
• Sun 0900-1400, M, TH, F 1500-2000
• Weekend and Holiday rotation

Job Requirements

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year

The Work Utilizes

• Infection prevention techniques
• Patient transfer techniques
• Knowledge of appropriate routes
• To assure patients are safely and efficiently moved

Good Communication

• With the nursing clinical staff is required
• Recognizes when they need to ask for help or continued guidance

Maintains and Protects

• The integrity of patient’s tubes
• Lines and collection devices

Also Moves

• Patient valuables
• Equipment
