Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, transports patients, equipment, supplies, and other items throughout the hospital to support patient care and operational efficiency.
• Assists with patient movement, transfers, and related transport activities while following established safety and infection prevention protocols and demonstrating behaviors consistent with the organization's Excellence Always standards.
• Coordinates with clinical and support departments to facilitate patient flow and ensure the timely delivery and retrieval of equipment.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous hospital and/or office/business experience desired.
• Ability to lift, push and pull with assistance (mechanical or co-worker), the weight of the average patient specific to the department.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
