Patient Transporter, Full Time

About the role

Transports patients and equipment to and from various departments within the Medical Center. Performs various patient related activities, as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintains PAR levels for equipment in various locations throughout the Medical Center.
• Uses Epic software to track each patient's location as they travel to and from designated areas throughout the facility.
• Uses Epic software to track equipment movement throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Preferred Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Experience: Two years customer service experience.
• Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) program

Qualifications

• The physical demands described here are the representative of the minimums that must be met by an employee to perform all essential functions of the job.
• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Skills

• Knowledge of patient transportation procedures.
• Ability to use Epic software.
