Patient Transporter - Flexi/PRN

About the role

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Patient Transporter at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center to work on an as needed basis. Hours/Shift: Flexi/PRN, rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics.
• Strictly adhere to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara.
• Communicate clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients.
• Ensure adequate communication of information between Central Transport and other departments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Preferred: Patient care experience
