Maintaining Clear Hallways

• Moves unused equipment to designated storage areas.

Communicating Effectively

• Communicates with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Handling and Delivering Medical Equipment and Supplies

• Ensures the proper handling and delivery of medical equipment and supplies.

Ongoing Training and Development

• Participates in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Assisting in Patient Transfers

• Assists in the safe transfers of patients from bed to stretcher or wheelchair.
• Facilitates the safe, efficient, and expedited movement of patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, and cribs.

Transporting Patient-Related Items

• Transports patient-related items such as belongings, paperwork, labs, and equipment efficiently.

Recording Transport Details

• Accurately records transport details and reports necessary information using the Transportation system.

People Skills

• Ability to understand customers' needs and respond to them in a pro-active, courteous, professional, and efficient manner.

Communication Skills

• Able to communicate in English using good diction, and respond to peoples needs in a pleasant and courteous manner as perceived by the customer, and as appropriate to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate stretchers, beds, and wheelchairs.
• Must be proficient in the English language and able to read, write, and follow oral instructions.
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
