Job Description
Transports and assists patients throughout the medical center. May also transport patients to and from appointments at the medical center.
Education & Certification
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- HS Diploma or general education degree (GED).
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider preferred, but not required.
Experience
- As Typically Acquired In Previous working experience in a health care environment.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong communication skills for frequent and challenging contact with physicians, patients, families.
- Patience and compassion.
- Ability to lift and position patients properly using best practices.
- Able to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work, tolerate frequent interruptions and work well under pressure.
Shifts & Hours
- Day/Evening/Night Schedule.
- Per Diem/Casual Shift Hours 8 Days Of The Week.
- Variable Weekend Requirements.
- Every other Weekend, Every Weekend.
