Patient Transporter

About the role

This role ensures efficient patient movement within the medical center, supporting a large, multi-specialty healthcare facility dedicated to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care by communicating with patients and families about transport needs.
• Move patients between departments using beds, stretchers, or wheelchairs, with or without assistance.
• Transition care equipment such as IV poles, oxygen lines, and monitoring devices during transport.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of stretchers, wheelchairs, oxygen cylinders, and related equipment.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• No prior experience required.
