A Patient Transporter safely moves patients via wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds to and from clinical/ancillary departments, ensuring a compassionate, efficient, and comfortable experience.
- Strong communication skills
- Assistance with patient transfers
- Equipment maintenance
- Adherence to safety protocols
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association is typically required. At least one year of related experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, and pushing.

We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is located on a 94-acre campus in Palm Beach County. The surrounding areas include Wellington, Royal Palm Beach and Loxahatchee.
