Patient Transporter
Job Summary
Jump-start your career as a Patient Transporter at Overland Park Regional Medical Center with HCA Healthcare. Our Transporters assist with the movement of patients, equipment, supplies in and around the hospital.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
- American Heart Association Basic Life Saving (BLS) Required with 90 days of hire
What You Will Do In This Role
You will safely lift patients on and off beds and transport them safely to and from special service and treatment areas using wheelchairs or moveable beds.
You will comfort patients and their families by offering support and encouragement.
You will deliver equipment and supplies to assigned treatment areas and patient care areas.
You will pick up and deliver laboratory specimens.
