About the role
The Transporter will work under the supervision of the Patient Transport Supervisor, Patient Transport Lead, and Dispatcher.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and timely transportation and/or escort of patients and other miscellaneous items, following department policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe environment for the patient as a patient companion/sitter.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Certificate/License: BLS (required within 30 days)
- Experience: Customer service experience (preferred)
