Job Summary
As a Patient Transporter, you will primarily be responsible for the safe transport of all patients throughout the hospital and assist the nursing staff in performing complex lifts, transfers, and safe positioning of patients under the supervision of the patient’s registered nurse. You will be responsible for delivering high quality care in transporting all types of patients and assisting in the care of patients requiring moderate to total assistance in moving.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- High School Graduate / GED
- Previous experience as a nursing assistant preferred
- Ability to understand medical terminology
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to use common practice
