A Patient Transporter at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital safely moves patients via wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds to and from clinical/ancillary departments, ensuring a compassionate, efficient, and comfortable experience. This role requires strong communication, assistance with patient transfers, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association is typically required. At least one year of related experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, and pushing. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and medical staff. Frequently requires working in fast-paced environments, including PRN (as needed), days, or weekends.
