Patient Transporter

Role: Patient Transport Responsibilities: Transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds, disconnecting and reconnecting IV pumps and oxygen equipment, and delivering patient equipment to nursing floors. Work involves handling equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma, American Heart Association BLS certification, excellent communication, ability to lift over 50 lbs, push/pull over 200 lbs, and perform transfers. Requires high energy and attention to safety due to physical demands and work environment. Key Duties: Transport patients efficiently, follow policies and procedures, and ensure proper handling of medical equipment. Work under supervision in an environment that may involve noise, drafts, or temperature variations.
