Responsibilities

• Maintains clear hallways by moving unused equipment to designated storage areas.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Ensures the proper handling and delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
• Participates in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assists in the safe transfers of patients from bed to stretcher or wheelchair.
• Facilitates the safe, efficient, and expedited movement of patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, and cribs.
• Transports patient-related items such as belongings, paperwork, labs, and equipment efficiently.
• Accurately records transport details and reports necessary information using the Transportation system.

Requirements

• Education: High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
• Work Experience: 1+ year public contact in a medical setting [Preferred]
• Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]; Driver's License (DL) [Preferred]
