Patient Transportation Coordinator/Driver - Milwaukie
Description
The Transportation Coordinator receives and delivers geriatric, frail, and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations using regular or specially equipped vehicles, as needed. Providence caregivers are valued for their contributions to the community.

Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver geriatric, frail, and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations.
- Drive large passenger vans or small buses, as required.
- Transport individuals with special mobility needs.
- Comply with all state laws and requirements for driving.
- Provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
Requirements
- Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire.
- 5 years driving experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years driving experience, including:
- Driving a large passenger van or small bus.
- Experience transporting people with special needs.
- Experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs.
- 1 year of experience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $20.19 - $30.26 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
