Driver/Patient Transportation Coordinator

ERG is a leading U.S. based, privately held, independent clinical research site company, and provider of clinical development services with expertise in early and late-stage neuroscience drug development.

Responsibilities

• In a safe and responsible manner transport potential subjects, established subjects, and various items as assigned.
• Maintain principles of good customer service during all interactions with subjects.
• Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork such as daily transportation sheets and credit card receipts.
• Adhere to seat belt, cell phone use laws including texting, and ensure passengers comply as well.
• Do not smoke in company vehicle and ensure passengers comply as well.
• Keep company vehicle free from damage, in acceptable condition, and consistently clean.
• Report any damage or mechanical malfunctions to the Site Director in a timely manner.
• Work hours as required including overtime as needed.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain an excellent driving record with no more than two violations on the employees driving record at any given time.
• Assess dangerous scenarios and appropriately route to Site Director/Manager while problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Basic understanding of regulatory requirements, HIPAA, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.
• Able to communicate with clients, providers, co-workers, sponsors, and others in a collaborative and courteous manner.
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology to communicate with physician office and staff.
• EMT or BLS certified preferred.
