Patient Transport Worker - Staffing Center

Role: The Patient Transport Worker is responsible for safely transporting patients, their belongings, medical records, specimens, and equipment within the institution to support patient care. Responsibilities: Maintain a friendly and professional attitude, respond to customer needs, verify patient identity, assist with patient admissions and discharges, transport decedent bodies, and ensure confidentiality. Follow safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and departmental procedures, while effectively using electronic devices to communicate and document tasks. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred; fluent in English; ability to stay calm under pressure; work efficiently under time constraints; adaptable to change; physical stamina for lifting, bending, pushing, and walking; may require uniforms and PPE.
